It is with great sadness that we learnt of the death of Sir David Brewer KG, CMG, CVO at the end of May. Sir David joined the GBCC Board in April 1997 and was appointed as Chairman shortly thereafter. He served as Chairman for seven years, stepping down to take up the role of Lord Mayor of London.
GBCC is very grateful for David’s dedication and service and our sincere condolences go to Lady Brewer and their daughters.
